About

Hi, I’m Lexi.

I’m a California native from a not so little place called Walnut Creek (it’s near San Francisco). Somewhere in my adolescence, with an intrinsic, special pull towards the Spanish language, I developed a deep fascination for Spain & my destiny pushed me across “the pond” to end up living first in Bilbao, then Valencia and now here in Barcelona. I’ve been living in Spain for over 12 years and I’ve been dedicated to sports, yoga and nutrition since as far back as I can remember ❤

Yoga has been in and out of my life for 15 years. But I only realized as little as two years ago that it is much more: it is my spiritual path and one true guide through life. It has connected me to people, projects, energy, and miracles. You can read about my most defining spiritual experiences on my blog page. The writing part is just for fun! 🙂 I love to be able to write about everyday life situations and occurrences and how they align us to yoga. Sometimes the hardest part about understanding yoga, is that is is related in everything we do- we just have to see it through a different lense.

I also work teaching English to adults. I’m incredibly lucky to have a Business Management Degree with a Spanish minor & Certification to Teach English as a Second Language. This has allowed me to embark on many projects over the past 6 years with English in What’s Up! Living English S.L. and my own private classes. The delights of teaching are endless and have helped me rejoice in guiding and helping people in another field: yoga.

Organic, plant-based living is another passion of mine- check out my foodie page to get ideas on healthy recipes and to see how you can keep living your best life by choosing food as medicine. Choosing organic, 0-km and seasonal products to whip up your dishes doesn’t have to be expensive or difficult. You don’t have to be 100% restrictive vegan or vegetarian in order to make healthier more conscious decisions about what you put in your body! No matter your belief system about food, I hope I can help you adapt or modify your diet to your best advantage! I even have tips on products that I use, like shampoos and body lotion that are 100% organic, and household cleaning products that are less toxic for the environment.

I can’t wait to meet you and answer more questions you might have for me.

Namaste yoguis.
